DEATH
Funeral services for Joseph Guerrea, laborer of 24 W Thirteenth
st. Newport, who was instantly killed while at work at the Andrews steel plant,
Newport, Saturday, will be held Tuesday morning from St Stephen Church. Burial
will be in St Stephen cemetery.
Guerrea and several workmen were engaged in removing ingots from a freight car by means of a steel crane when he was caught between the car an a mass of steel. His skull was crushed. A widow survives.
