NEWPORT

Josephine Dewalt, of Finchtown, swore out a warrant yesterday against Clemens Lemberg, charging him with threatening personal violence.

Her story was that Lemberg, who was an old lover of hers, visited at her residence and producing a revolver, threatened to kill her. Deputy Louis Betz served the warrant last evening by arresting Lemberg and placing him in jail.

The prisoner is a brakeman on the L and N Railroad and it is thought that he is anxious to scare the girl into leaving town for very apparent reasons.
