Requiem High Mass for Pfc. Joseph Seiter Jr. who was killed in
action in Germany, Dec 1, 1944, will be sung at SS Peter and Paul Church,
Gubsers Mill, at 9 am Saturday, following prayers at the residence. Burial will
be in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. Pfc. Seiter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Seiter
Sr. Wesley Chapel road, Gubsers Mill, was a holder of the Purple Heart medal. He
was 20.
Besides his parents, he leaves four brothers Ralph, Leroy, Raymond and Norbert, all of home and four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Hunt, Mrs. Gertrude Gebelt and Catherine and Hilda Seiter, all of Newport. The Muehlenkamp funeral home, Alexandria is in charge of arrangements.
