The funeral of Lafayette Hoffman, a carpenter of Eleventh and Orchards sts. Newport, whose body was found in the Ohio River, took place yesterday, the remains being interred at Grants Lick. The police have been unable to decide whether Hoffman was murdered and his body thrown into the river or he committed suicide.
