GONE
Mrs. Lemarian Jenkins, widow of William Jenkins and mother of Dr.
J O Jenkins, died at an early hour yesterday morning at her late residence, 818
Isabella street. Heart trouble was the cause of death. Mrs. Jenkins was past 70
years of age and one of Newport's most highly respected citizens, having resided
here for many years.
Dr. Jenkins left yesterday to bring his wife, who is sojourning in the mountains, home, and the funeral arrangements are, therefore not complete.
