Two years ago when Leo G Broering, Earl Dietz, James E Deckert
and Oscar Hesch were seated as commissioners fireworks were plentiful. The
commissioners intital session was a stormy one which saw John T Rawlings
suspended as city manager and J B Morlidge, the present chief executive, named
to replace him.
Mayor Joseph G Hermann will relinquish his mayorship to Mayor Broering.
