Kentucky Post, Wednesday, 4 September 1918, page 3

Pictured above is another Newport boy who has shed his blood in the cause of justice. He is Sergeant Leonard George Stevenson of 87 Saratoga st. Word has been received from the War Department that he had been wounded in action in France July 18. The message said the degree of the wound had not been determined.

This is the second time Stevenson has been wounded. He went overseas in March with Company C Eighth Machine Gun Battalion.
