Augusta Mays, Mary Crosby and Andrew Lewis

 

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we, Mary Aurella Lewis, H H Mayo & D D Mayo, are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the penal sum of four thousand dollars, current money, to the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, as witness our hands and seals, this 28 day of June 1841.

The condition of the above Obligation is such, That if the above bound, Mary Aurella Lewis, his heirs, executors, and administrators, shall well and truly pay and deliver to Augusta Mays Lewis, Mary Crosby Lewis and Andrew Lewis, of whom she is appointed Guardian, all such estate as now is, or shall hereafter appear to be due from him to the said orphans when they shall attain to lawful age to demand the same, or when thereunto required by the Justices of the Campbell County Court for the time being, and also faithfully execute her office herein, in such a manner as to save harmless and indemnify the said Justices, their heirs, executors, and administrators, from all trouble and damage that about said estate may accrue, then the above obligation to be void-else to remain in full force and virtue.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we, H H Mayo, Lewis Helm, Edw P Ball & Charles Daniel, are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the penal sum of three thousand dollars, current money, to the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, as witness our hands and seals, this 27 day of May 1844.

The condition of the above Obligation is such, That if the above bound, H H Mayo, his heirs, executors, and administrators, shall well and truly pay and deliver to Mary C Lewis, Augusta Lewis, Andrew Lewis, infant orphans of Andrew & Mary A Lewis, dec'd, of whom he is appointed Guardian, all such estate as now is, or shall hereafter appear to be due from him to the said orphans when they shall attain to lawful age to demand the same, or when thereunto required by the Justices of the Campbell County Court for the time being, and also faithfully execute his office herein, in such a manner as to save harmless and indemnify the said Justices, their heirs, executors, and administrators, from all trouble and damage that about said estate may accrue, then the above obligation to be void-else to remain in full force and virtue.
