NEWPORT BRIEFS
Judge Hissem yesterday granted a saloon license to Margaret
Plaspohl, over the protests of a number of citizens of Brent, Ky. A hearing of
the case was had yesterday morning in the Campbell County Court.
The bond of Mrs. Plaspohl was signed by George Brockhause and was approved by the Court.
