Mrs. Margaret Velkley
Mrs. Margaret Velkley, 92, of 942 Columbia
Street, Newport, died Tuesday at Speers Hospital, Dayton.
Mrs. Velkley, who was the oldest member
of St. John Evangelical Church, Newport, came to the United States from Germany
at the age of 16, and has resided in Campbell County since that time.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. William
Schneider, Mrs. Gus Schneider and Mrs. Alvin Muehlenbach, all of Newport; five
grandchildren, three great grandchildren
and two great great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the
Erschell funeral home, Newport. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
