NEWPORT
Mrs. Mary Jones, widow of C J Jones, pioneer resident of Campbell co. and mother of Matt Jones, sexton of Evergreen Cemetery, died Tuesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. George H Bishop, 812 Columbia st. Newport, from an illness to old age. the decedent was 82 years old and nearly all of her life had been a resident of the county.
The funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 pm and burial will be made in Evergreen Cemetery.
