Maurice Andriot, 79, of 219 Ward av. Dayton, Civil War veteran and member of the GAR was still missing Friday noon. Andriot left his home Wednesday morning and has not been heard of since. A cap belonging to him was found on the river bank near the Queen City Beach.

The veteran is described as five feet six inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds and has long white whiskers and gray eyes. He wore gray trousers, lavender shirt, tan slippers and a house coat when last seen. Police up and down the river have been notified of his sudden disappearance.

The body of Maurice Andriot, Civil War veteran, who disappeared from his home in Dayton, April 19, was found Saturday under Rettig's boat at the foot of Washington av. Bellevue by Ben Thoman. The funeral was held at 3 pm Saturday afternoon from Vondehaar & Stetters undertaking establishment, Dayton. Many old soldiers attended the services.
