CALLS MEETING-Ns Kilpatrick, former officer in the American Army and local auto dealer, has been designated by Brig. Gen. Roger Williams of Kentucky to take charge of the organization of the proposed chapter of the American Legion in Newport. Kilpatrick, before receiving his commission as an officer in the army, was active in war work and is one of the most popular young men in the city. Kilpatrick has called a meeting of soldiers, sailors and marines for Monday night. The meeting will be held at the Newport garage at 209 E. Fourth st.

FUNERAL-Services for Ns J Kilpatrick, retired northern Kentucky Insurance broker, will be held at the A C Dobbling and Son Funeral home, Ft Thomas, at 2 pm Wednesday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. He was 61. Mr. Kilpatrick died Monday at his home, 25 W Southgate avenue, Ft Thomas. A resident of Campbell county for many years, he was a former partner in the Ware & Kirkpatrick Buick Agency, Newport. He also was a member of the Newport Masonic Lodge. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Hazel Mae Silvers Kilpatrick.
