While the U. S. senatorial primary is eight months away, the northern Kentucky GOP leaders, especially so in Campbell county are organized in unison in sponsoring the candidacy of Judge Odis W Bertelsman of Campbell County Court. With a united front being presented in behalf of Judge Bertelsman in his race for the office to crown his young and successful career, the movement has gained momentum in all sections of the state.

While all of Judge Bertelsman political contests have been waged in Campbell county, he has gained state wide recognition during recent state and national campaigns. Judge Bertelsman is now in the sixth year of his second term as judge of Campbell County Quarterly and Juvenile Court as well as chairman of the Fiscal Court. He has been a member of the state and federal bar for the last 16 years. He assumed the practice of the late William Burkamp and later served as city attorney for Ft Thomas.

Judge Bertelsman is a World War I veteran and has served as judge advocate of James Wallace Costigan Post, American Legion. In World War I he enlisted at the age of 18 and attended the artillery officers training school.
