SUSPECT-With Dr. Palmer G Keeney, 75, of 213 E Seventh St. Newport, veteran and prominent Campbell County Physician, under arrest in the police and Federal narcotic agent probe of alleged drug traffic violations, a second physician will be named in a Federal warrant. Dr. Keeney is named under the state drug act in four warrants. Dr. Keeney was represented by Daniel W Davies when his case was called Saturday before Judge Alfred G Maybury. The case was continued until April 4. Dr. Keeney is released under a $3500 cash bond.

Mr. Davies entered a no guilty plea on behalf of Dr. Keeney, a member of Speers Hospital staff and former Bellevue city health officer.

CASE-The case of Dr. Palmer G Keeney, 75, charged with violation of the uniform narcotics drug act, was taken under submission Monday. Meanwhile Dr. Keeney who denied any wrong doing was released on his own recognizance.

KEENEY DIES-Dr. Palmer G Keeney, 82, a general practitioner in Bellevue and Newport for 50 years prior to his retirement seven years ago, died Wednesday night at Cincinnati Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Keeney had been a resident patient at the Ft Thomas VA hospital until a week ago. He leaves a son, Clark E, Danville; a brother, Chester, New YOrk state and a daughter-in-law Mrs. Fan E Keeney, St Thomas. His wife, Mrs. Sudie Babcock Keeney died in 1945.

Services will be held for Dr. Keeney at the Dobbling Funeral Home, Ft Thomas. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 pm Friday.
