EXPECTED HOME-S Sgt. Paul J Vaal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vaal, 1030 Vine street, Newport, recently telephoned his parents from Berlin to inform them that he soon would be return to this country.
A graduate of Newport Catholic High School, Sgt. Vaal entered the service in July 1945. He was trained as an infantryman and has been stationed in Berlin for the past 14 months.
