SERVICES-Funeral services for Peter Muench, 66, of 728 Maple av. Newport, will be held Thursday at the home with requiem high mass at 9 am at St Stephen Church. Burial will be in St Stephen Cemetery. Muench, night watchman at the Rudolph Wurlitzer Co. Cincinnati, died suddenly early Monday while on duty. Apoplexy caused his death, Coroner M Scott Kearns reported.
Muench was widely known in Newport having lived in Campbell co. all his life. He was a member of St Stephen Court No 1380, Catholic Order of Foresters and the Holy Name Society of St Stephen Church. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Anna Fessler Muench; a daughter, Mrs. Clara Heim, Newport; four sons, Louis, Price Hill; Edward, St Bernard; Ernest and Arthur, Newport; and two brothers John and Nick Muench, Newport.
William C Betz Sons, Newport, undertakers, are in charge of the funeral.
