Peter Ruehl, 79, residing at 29 West Eleventh st. Newport, died Wednesday night after a short illness. He was a veteran of the Civil War and for many years a cabinet maker. He retired several years ago.
The funeral will be held Saturday with services at 2 pm from St Paul German Church on Eighth st. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
