Donna Rae Nelson, 3 month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nelson, 11 Parkview avenue, South Newport and granddaughter of Clyde W Meyer, Newport city fireman, has joined in the war bond drive. Donna Rae, assisted by her grandparents purchased her first bond.

Pharmacist Mate Third Class Ray W Nelson is stationed in the Medical Dispensary at the Naval Training Station, Great Lake, Ill. where he was a member of the Great Lakes Cross Country track team during the past fall.
Before his induction into the Navy in July 1943, he was an industrial arts instructor and track coach at Ludlow High School. His wife, Phyllis Nelson and nine month old daughter, Doris Rae, live with her parents in Alexandria Ky.
