Funeral of Robert Pye
The funeral of Mr. Robert Pye, took place yesterday morning at 10
o'clock, with services at St. Paul's M E Church. Rev M G McCreally
officiating.
The reverend gentleman paid an eloquent tribute to the sterling qualities of the deceased. The pallbearers were W T Hazelwood, Charles Solar, Ed Hunt, Charles Walters, D H Stine, and Robert Waring. In addition to those, there were four honorary pallbearers from each of the various lodges to which the deceased had belonged. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. The remains were interred at Spring Grove Cemetery.
