Samuel B Johns, 72, father of Charles R Johns, Newport patrol chauffer, died Friday at his residence, 714 Fifth av. Dayton Ky. of infirmities incident to old age. Four sons and a daughter survive. Johns was a veteran of the Civil War, William Nelson Post GAR of which he was a member, will have charge of the funeral services, which will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 pm.
