We regret to announce the death of Samuel Perry, Esq. one of the old citizens of Newport, who departed this life yesterday morning. He leaves a large list of friends and acquaintances to mourn his death. Notice will be given when the funeral will take place.

NEWPORT
Yesterday, at about half past eleven AM, Capt. Samuel Perry, died at his residence on York street. The deceased has long been a resident of this city, and leaves behind him a large oracle of friends. His age was seventy-six year; and the cause of his death is inflammatory disease. The time fixed upon for the funeral has not been announced.
