NEWPORT
The School Board met on Tuesday evening last, and made the
appointment of the following teachers;
S L Massey (former teacher in the colored Schools of Cincinnati) Principal of High School, W Clopper, First Assistant, and Lucy B Tingley
In the Intermediate, the appointees are: Y R Morris and ----- Ress.
In the Primary Schools, the are Miss Emma Alexander, Miss Christian McConnell, Miss Mary Bodley, Miss Lovin Gracey, Miss Belle Maratta, Miss Kate Nolan, Miss Sarah Genn, Miss Mollie Lindsey, Miss Jennie Craig and Miss Mary Hollep.
The music and writing teacher is Mr. James Waldo. The graduate of the schools are ruled out to give place to others.
