Solomon Abbott was born 25 Sep 1809 in Grants Lick, the possible son of Elisha Abbott and Cassandra Hawkins, the daughter of William Hawkins. Elisah and Cassandra married 10 Feb 1800 in Campbell Co. Solomon married (1) Elizabeth Jenner 8 Jan 1830; (2) Sarah Byrd 21 Feb 1834 in Grants Lick; (3) Mary Jane Baker 11 Nov 1867 in Grants Lick. He died 26 Dec 1878 in Grants Lick and was buried in the Persimmon Grove Baptist Cemetery in Grants Lick. Elisah Abbott was born 1770 in Maine and died 7 June 1854 in Clermont Co Oh and Cassandra was born 1783 in Washington Co Pa. and died 13 May 1848 in Clermont Co Oh.
