The steamboat Judge McClure, now lying in the Licking River, is advertised to be sold at Sheriff's sale, on the 24h of this month, on a credit of three months. The sale to take place at the Licking Bridge, at ten AM.

The sale of the steamboat Judge McClure will not take place as advertised, the owners having given security for the amount of the claim against them.

Today the steamboat Judge McClure and also the Jamestown steam ferry boat, will be sold at Sheriff's sale. The rise in the river will be no doubt add to the competition for the former.

The steamboat Judge McClure was sold on Saturday last by Sheriff Helm as advertised. Messrs. Casey, Hyne & Co were the successful bidders; the price fixed being $4805. The Jamestown ferry boat was likewise sold on the same day to Messrs. Walker & Meyers, of New Richmond, for $346.

The Judge McClure, here yesterday was sold at Newport Ky. for $4805 to Casey, Hyne & Co to tow coal from their mines on Trade water to the depot at Caseyville. She started to Caseyville yesterday descending the falls.
