Anderje, Georg Jacob-died 23 Jan 1888 morning between 1 and 2 of asthma; age 73 years 1 month; Born 28 Dec 1814. In America since 1844, married 1839 with Kath. Schmide and had 5 children, 3 sons and 2 daughters. 2 May 1853 married Margaretha Spaeth.   He was the founder of the church.  Burial in the Licking Pike Church on 25 Jan.  Text: Micah 2:10

Anderje, Margareth-widow died Thursday 26 Feb 1892 morning 3 hour in the house of her granddaughter Weissman in Newport.  Born in Bavaria 1 Apr 1811, she reached the august age of 80 years 10 months and 24 days.  35 happy years she spend with Jacob Anderje, who died 4 years ago.  Burial on Friday 27 Feb at the Licking Pike.

Andra, Elisabeth-died 10 June 1887 evening about 6 hour; born 1 June 1887in the age of and 10 days from convulsions.  Burial on Sunday the 12 June, 3 hour afternoon at the Licking Pike Cemetery.

Bersch, Johann Herbert-died 9 Mar 1899, 1 yr. 3 mo and 14 days. Born 25 Nov 1897.  Buried 10 Mar.

Blierderhaeufer, Friederike Wilhelmine, nee Wilzt-died 22 July 1902 in Claryville, of decrepitude, 85 yr 9 mo and 23 days.  Born 29 Sep 1816. Buried 24 July in Alexandria. Survivors: spouse Johan Wilhelm Blierderhaeufer, 2 daughters, 7 grandchildren.

Bodem, Louise-died 11 Sep 1900 of children's weakness, 2 mo 28 days. Born 13 June 1900. Buried 12 Sep.  Survivors: parents John and Nellie, nee Callery, grandparents Jacob Bodem and Paulina, nee Fleig, and uncles and aunts.

Boden, Carolina Margaretha-died Wednesday 11 Jan 1892 afternoon 2 hour of heart failure.  Born 10 Jan 1881 thus in the age of 11 years and 1 month.  Burial at Johns Hill on Saturday 2 hour.

Bottom, Margaretha-died 25 July 1886 of convulsions; 7 days; d/o Jacob Bottom and Louisa nee Flaig; buried 28 July 1886.

Braun, Bertha-died 24 Feb 1896; born 18 Mar 1889; 6 yr. 11mo. 11 da. died of meningitis. Daughter of Adam and Margaretha, nee Schneider, 3 brothers, 2 sisters. Buried 26 Feb.

Braun, Catharina, nee Wasser-died 18 Nov 1898 of pneumonia, 72yr.1 mo 3 days. Born 14 Oct 1826. Buried 20 Nov.  Survivors: 7 children, 5 sons, 2 daughters, 2 brothers, 1 sister.

Braun, Martin-died 13 Apr 1899, 43 yr. 11 mo 27 days of consumption.  Born 16 Apr 1855.  Buried 15 Apr.  Survivors:  spouse Louise, nee Kopp, 4 sons, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, sister-in-law Margaretha Kopp, nee Schweitzer.

Braun, Valentine-b-11 Dec 1819 Offenheim, kingdom of Alsheim, Hesse Darmstadt; d-5 Mar 1885 age 65 years 2 months and  22 days; buried 8 Mar 1885.

Cass, Mirjam, nee Hubert-died 5 Jan 1905 with weakness of old age, 84yr 11 mo and 25 days.  Born 10 Jan 1820. Buried 7 Jan. Wife of Chas Cass, 5 children, 4 of them living, 1 son and 3 daughters.

Daehnert, Carl-died 13 Jan 1890 midday 12 hour; born 16 Feb 1871 in the age of 18 years, 10 months and 27 days after about 8 days sickness of the intestinal symptoms.  Burial on Wednesday, the 15 Jan afternoon 1 hour from church and in Johns Churchyard on Licking Pike.

Deinlein, Barbara-widow died 5 Oct 1913. Born 17 Apr 1828 in Bavaria.

Deinlein, George-died 25 Mar 1895, born 17 Apr 1822; 72 yrs. 11 mo 8 days. Died of asthma and blood poisoning.  Survivors: spouse Barbara nee Leistner, 1 son , 3 daughters; buried 27 Mar.

Dietrich, Anna Maria, nee Piermann-in Newport died 28 May 1905 of abdomen ___, 34 yr 1 mo and 16 days. Buried 30 May. Survivors: spouse Joseph, 2 sons, mother Charlotte Piermann, nee Dorne, 3 brothers, 3 sisters.

Dischar, Anna Maria-died 23 Dec 1891 by suicide, widow of Frederick. Born in the Great Hessen on 5 Nov 1811, 80 years old.  Burial on 25 Dec afternoon 2 hour.

Duckworth, Margaretha Louise, nee Schweitzer-died 6 Apr 1907 of consumption, 30 yr 8 mo and 12 days. Born 24 July 1876. Buried 8 Apr. Survivors: spouse Lee Duckworth, 1`son, 1 daughter, mother Carol Schweitzer, nee Ehrhardt, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, grandmother Ehrhardt, nee Arnold.

Ehrhard, Christian-died Wednesday 17 Sep 1890 night 11 hour of the diphtheria.  Eldest son of Andreas and Katharina, nee Koehler, in the age of 5 years, 7 months and 3 days after about 3 days sickness.  Burial on Saturday 20th at the Licking Pike Prot. Churchyard.  Test 1 Sam 3:18.

Ehrhard, Heinrich-died 26 June 1890 10 hour evening in the age of 7 months.  Youngest child of Andrew and Catharina, nee Koehler, of brainfire?  Burial on 28 June at Johns Churchyard.

Ehrhard, Katherine, nee Koehler-died 18 July 1891 morning 4 hour of the consumption.  Born 3 Oct 1864, in the age of 26 years, 9 months and 15 days.  Burial at the Licking Pike Churchyard Monday the 20th July.  Hebrews 13:4

Ehrhardt, Elisabeth, nee Arnold-died 5 Jan 1910, 80 yr 7 mo and 3 days; widow of Phil. Born 2 June 1829. Survivors: 1 son, 3 daughters, 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.

Ehrhard, Maria, nee Hartig-527 Thornton St. Newport died 8 Aug 1903 of appendix and abdomen ___, 43 yr 2 mo and 16 days.  Born 22 May 1860.  Buried 11 Aug. Survivors: spouse, ____ Ehrhardt, 5 children, 1 brother.

Flaig, Augustus-died Wednesday 27 Apr 1892 afternoon 2 hour.  He was born in Great Baden 6 Dec 1831, reached age of 60 years 4 months and 21 days.  In the year 1850 he came to America and in 1856 married widow Johanna Sachs. 3 sons, Carl, August and Wilhelm.  Burial on 29 Apr at Johns Hill.  Text: Hebrew 4:9-11

Flaig, Eduard Wilhelm-died 31 Oct 1887 from intestinal grippe in the age of 3 months and 12 days; son of August and Margaretha nee Wasser.  Holy burial Wednesday 2 Nov at the Licking Pike Prot. Church Cemetery.

Flaig, Johanna-died Monday evening 7 hour 22 Feb 1892 completely unexpected quickly, in the house of her daughter Anna Schweitzer.  Born in the Great Baden 21 Mar 1828; married 1st May 1850 with G Sachs, children-George Sachs and Anna Schweitzer.  married 2nd May 1856 with August Flaig.  Text: Rev. 14:13 "Blessed are the dead." Burial at the Johns Hill Wednesday 25 Feb afternoon.

Flaig, Margarethe, nee Wasser-died in Denver Colo. and on 26 Apr 1894 at the Johannisberg was buried.  She was born 20 Feb 1863.

Fleig, Carl Paul-died 19 Mar 1900 of windpipe ____, 6 mo 23 days. Born 26 Aug 1899.  Buried 21 Mar. Survivors: parents Carl Adam and Rosina, nee Bodem. 512 XII Hr. Newport.  2 brothers, 5 sisters, grandmother Margaret Bodem and grandmother Ana Fleig, uncles and aunts.

Fleig, Caroline Mathilda-born 16 Sep 1865, died 23 May 1887 about 11 morning; age 21 years 8 months and 7 days after six weeks sickness; burial at Johns Hill on May 1 hour afternoon.

Foellger, Walter Johann-died 19 Feb 1906 of children's weakness, 2 mo and 14 days. Born 5 Dec 1905. Buried 21 Feb. Survivors: parents Anton Walter and Mathilda Maria, nee Marschmann, grandparents, Johann Ernst and Catharine Marschmann, nee Braun.

Graft, Elisabeth, nee Huber-died 16 Aug 1890 in Alexandria of the stomach cancer in the age of 60 years.  She was born in Bavaria.  About 1857 married with Jacob Graft, had 5 children, and 4 are living.  Burial 17 Aug in Alexandria.

Grieshammer, Mary-died Sunday 26 Jan 1889, about 7 hour morning after 5 days bedridden; of Oberfranken, Bavaria, age 73 years, 5 months and 9 days;  Out of first marriage with Michael Kugler 4 children, 1 dead; Conrad Kulger, Catharina Opel and Barbara Sachs.  2nd marriage with Christoph Grieshammer, childless since 15 years widower, she leaves by him daughter Cath Open and herself dead.  Burial at Johns Hill Churchyard on 26 Jan.  Rev of John 14:13.  Blessed are the dead, they in the journey ___, from now on.

Hammerschmidt, Emil Adalbert-died 21 Nov 1911, 61 yr 2 mo and 9 days. Born Sep 1850. Survivors: widow, 1 son, 2 brothers, 2 sisters.

Hartig, Heinrich-died 16 Sep 1899, 67 yr 6 mo and 17 days. Born 29 Feb 1832. Buried 19 Sep. Survivors: 1 son, 1 daughter, 7 grandchildren, brothers and sisters.

Hass, Charles-died 11 May 1893 in the age 67 years, 2 months, 2 days and was buried 13 May in Cold Spring.  He was grieved in death by his widow, 2 sons and 2 daughters and their spouses.

Hauser, Christian Jacob-died 31 Aug 1891 about 6 days old, young son of Jacob and Luise, nee Kohler.  Burial 2 Sep at Johns Hill Churchyard.

Heinlein, Georg Johann-born Neustadt of Eisch Bavaria 19 Mar 1903. Died 11 June 1903, 76 yr 2 mo and 22 days of apoplexy.  Survivors: spouse Elisabeth, nee H__hen, 2 sons, 6 daughters, 1 brother. Buried 13 June.

Herbst, Anna, nee Koehler-died 7 Apr 1891 8 hour evening, wife of Philipp, after 8 days sickness in the age of 28 years, 8 months, and 1 day.  She leaves to the care of God 3 children; Carrie, 6 years, Georg, 4 years and Carl, 2 years.

Herbst, Elisabeth-died 9 Apr 1891 around 4 hour morning, age 4 years, 2 months and 5 days after 6 ___ on sickbed.  She was the 2nd daughter of John and Margaret, nee Ehrhard.

Herbst, Ida (Edith)-died Tuesday 12 Mar 1889 from diphtheria, 14 days sick; born 19 Mar 1885, 2nd daughter of Johann and Margaretha, nee Ehrhardt.  Burial on Friday 15 Mar at Johns Hill.

Herbst, Infant-died 29 Mar 1891, youngest child of Philipp and Anna, nee Koehler, 3 weeks old.  Burial at the Johns Hill on the 31 March.

Hildebrand, Louise Margaret, nee Schweitzer-Cold Spring died 29 Aug 1909, 35 yr 5 mo and 22 days. Born 6 Mar 1874. Buried 31 Aug 1909. Survivors: spouse Walter Troen, 2 daughters, 6 and 3, 1 newborn boy, mother Caroline Schweitzer, nee Ehrhardt.

Koehler, Johann Eduard-died Wednesday 23 Jan 1889, 11 hour 40 minutes afternoon, age 2 years, 6 months and 16 days. He was sick of ailing lungs, finally diphtheria.  Burial on Friday 25 at the Licking Pike Churchyard.

Koerzdoerfer, Johann-died 9 Apr 1908 of gunshot wound on himself as he climbed down?, 74 yr 2 days. Born 7 Apr 1834. Buried 12 Apr. Survivors: spouse Kunigunda, nee Wittmann, 2 daughters, 1 sister, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.

Kohler, Philipp-born in Esschberg, Rhein, died 21 Feb 1894 at the old folks home and was buried 23 Feb at the churchyard at the Licking Pike under great sympathy.  Age 68 years 10 months and 24 days.

Kopp, Kunigunde-widow died 8 Jan 1893 in the age of 85 years 4 months and 9 days and ws on 10 Jan buried in the Pike Churchyard.

Kuhl, Peter-of Alexandria died 4 Feb1901 of pneumonia, 40 yr 4 mo and 18 days. Born 16 Nov 1860. Buried 7 Feb. Survivors: spouse Ana, 5 children-3 boys, 2 girls, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Lang, Anna Maria, nee Tscherter, widow-died 7 Nov 1907 of dropsy, 82 yr 1 mo and 20 days.  Born 17 Sep 1825. Buried 10 Nov. Survivors: 3 sons, 2 daughters.

Lang, Pearl of Johns Hill-died 20 Oct 1896, born 15 Sep 1889; 7 yr. 1 mo. 5 days. died after 8 days of membrane croup.  Survivors: parents Christian Johann Leonhardt and Helene, nee Kopp, 3 brothers, 2 grandmothers, uncles and aunts. Buried 22 Oct.

Leistner, Christine-died Thursday 11 Sep 1890 2 1/2 hour afternoon in the home of her daughter, Kuni Schmidt in Newport, after 8 days sickbed of the ___.  She was born in Bavaria on 23 Apr 1822, died consequently in the age of 68 years, 4 months and 19 days.  In the 45 years she was with the widower William Fritz Leistner were married, 7 children.  Burial on Sunday afternoon at the Licking Pike Prot. Churchyard.  1 Moses 48:21

Link, Emma-died 20 Nov 1887 from typhoid malaria fever in the age of 17 years 7 months and 20 days; born 26 Mar 1879, daughter of John and Maria nee Mathis.  Holy burial Wednesday 23 Nov at the Licking Pike Prot. Church Cemetery. Text: Jer. 29:11

Link, John-died 27 May 1891 12 1/2 hour morning, age 56 years, 3 months and 29 days, after 6 days of sickness of stomach disease.  His widow, second wife, Anna nee Hoherkamp.  Burial on the 29 May afternoon 2 hour at the Licking Pike Prot. Churchyard.  Heb. 9:27-28

Linstaedt, Johannes Herrmann-died Monday morning 7 May 1888 of heart failure in Alexandria, Ky.  Eldest son of Rev Herrmann Linstaedt of Nurnberg, Bavaria, born 23 July 1848 in Wheelnig, WVa. age 39 years 9 months and 14 days.  Holy burial on Tuesday 8 May at Evergreen Cemetery.

Louis, Charles died 5 Apr 1888 6 3/4 hour evening of consumption; leaving behind wife and 2 children; born 16 Nov 1855, age 32 years 4 months and  20 days in Clermont County O. Burial at the Licking Pike church yard 7 Apr.

Marschmann, Catharina, nee Wasser-died Tuesday 9 Sep 1890 in the age of 75 years, 5 months and 22 days.  Born in H Darmstadt on 15 Feb 1815, she lived there about 14 years.  Burial at Johns Hill on Thursday the 11th.  Burial text Psl. III 2.

Marschmann, Eduard-died 15 July 1893 of convulsions in the age of 2 months 13 days. Son of Johann and Catharina, nee Braun and was buried 16 July at the Johns Hill Churchyard.

Marschmann, Emilie-died 16 Apr 1906 of consumption, 22 yr 11 mo and 7 days.  Born 9 May 1883. Buried 26 Apr.  Survivors: Johann Ernst and Catharina, nee Braun, 2 brothers, 3 sisters.

Mason, Alfred Carl-died 1 Nov 1909 of appendicitis, 6 yr 6 mo and 10 days. Born 21 Apr 1903. Buried 3 Nov. Survivors: father Eduard Joseph Mason, 1 brother, 2 grandmothers Sarah Mason, nee Borges and Elisabeth Wasser, nee Scherrer.

Piermann, Reinhard-died 10 Aug 1890 night 11 1/2 hour after 6 ____ of his stomach, in the age 66 years and 3 days.  One of the founder of the parish, ___ true!  Member and frequent senior official of the church council.  Born at Hoehfroscher, Rheinfalz, Bavaria 7 Aug 1824, the 4th child of ____, he came to America about 1851, landed in New York, sometime to Philadelphia and to Covington in year 1870, ____ in Campbell County.  Two daughters and wife are dead.  From second marriage with Charlotte Dorne, widow, are 14 children.  Burial at Johns Hill.

Reike, Helen-died 26 May 1890 at the age of 27 years, ____ dose morphine.  Born at Enden in Ostfriesland, she came prior 1 1/2 years in the country and stayed by her uncle W. Schroeder.  Burial on 18th (sic) afternoon 2 hour at Johns Churchyard Licking Pike.

Rice, Child-died 21 June 1891 evening 6 hour, the adopted daughter of Peter and Anna Rice, nee Piermann.  Burial on 23 June at Johns Hill.

Riedinger, Caroline-died 6 July 1887 afternoon about 3 1/3 quick heart failure; in the age of 32y 2m 1d; born 5 May 1855, married about 12 years with Johann Riedinger, leaving behind 2 children, Caroline in the 12th and Johny in the 7th year.  Holy burial on Friday 8 July at Johns Hill.

Rodler, Maria, nee Koerzderfer-died Sunday Jan 10 1889 moring 4th hours, after nearly 6 months with disease of coughing consumption, in the age of 29 years, 8 months, and 13 days.  Married 26 May 1886 in much happiness married with her Gustav George Rodler.  Leaving behind 2 children; 1 boy son 1 1/2 years and 1 daughter girl __ days.  On Tuesday 22nd afternoon 1 hour in the vault at Bridgetown Ohio was buried.

Sachs, Georg Gottlieg-son of Georg in Clifton Ky. and his wife Barbara, nee Kugler, died 24 Jan 1894 in the age of 13 years, 8 months and 2 days and was buried 27 Jan at the Johannisberg Churchyard.

Schmidt, Peter-died 23 Apr 1887, 3 1/2 hour in the morning of hemorrhage; born 14 May 1820 in Circuit Bavaria, emigrated to America 1845; married Kunigunde, nee Reibel/Reebel of this marriage 12 children with 4 sons and 4 daughters living.  On 2 Mar he married Mrs. Caroline Hesmeier, widow since 1884. He was the founder and zealous member of the Parish.

Schneider, Albert-died 20 June 1894, born 12 May 1881 age 13 years, 1 month and 8 days.  Son of Johann and Louise. Buried 22 June.

Schweitzer, Margarethe-nee Schweitzer-b-14 Sep 1806 in Wittenburg, Stuttgardt, circuit of Wurttemberg, settled 1847 in America with her spouse Johannes Scweitzer died on the 17 Nov 1849.  The children of their marriage are: Karoline Koster, Katherine Flaig, Johannes Schweitzer, Gottlob S, Christian S, Christine S;, Pauline S; Martin S. Mrs. Marg. Schweitzer died 6 Sep 1885 after 8 days of sickness in the age of 79 years and was buried 8 Sep in the Evangelical Protestant churchyard of the Johns Hill.

Stichling, Christoph-b-28 Mar 1819 in Klein-Breibach in Sachsen; drowned 27 June 1885 in the Licking age 66 years 3 months; buried 29 June 1885.  He was co-founder of the parish, formerly president of the parish, encouraging love of his fellowmen, particularly his great family and was buried _____the whole parish.
