Mrs. Susan White, 39, of Boone Street, Newport, died Sunday at St
Elizabeth's Hospital (Covington) of typhoid fever. Her death occurred just three
weeks after her husband's death and in another ward at the hospital, a daughter,
9, is in critical condition, and another and younger child is ill at the home
with typhoid fever.
Mrs. White was the daughter of the late Peter Krontz, of Alexandria. The body was removed to the home in Newport by Undertakers Charles A Smith and Son and the funeral took place Monday afternoon from the Catholic Church in Alexandria.
