FINED-Verner Gosney. 19, soldier station at Ft Thomas
Army Post, was fined $25 and costs for failure to have a drivers license and $10
for speeding when arraigned Thursday in Covington Police Court. Officer John
Dickerson testified Gosney drove 55 miles an hour early Thursday north on
Madison avenue and that he arrested the defendant at Ninth and Madison avenue.
Gosney was driving behind a cab operated by Edward Kibbard, 25, of 1806 Scott street, Covington, who also was fined $10 and costs for speeding. Officer Dickerson said Kibbards top speed was 59 miles an hour.
