Solemn Requiem To Be Sung For Pioneer Resident
Funeral services for Vincent Dutle, 90, pioneer resident of Newport, who died
Tuesday at his residence, 336 Lindsey-st, will be held Saturday at the residence
followed by solemn requiem high mass at Corpus Christi Church, Newport, at 9
a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s
Cemetery, John’s Hill.
Dutle was born in Baden, Germany, and came to this country when he was 18 years
old. He had been a resident of
Newport since 1883. He was a cooper
by trade.
He is survived by three sons, John, Joseph and Henry Dutle; two daughters,
Misses Mary & Elizabeth Dutle; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
