Virginia K Bowers, an aged woman of Third and Central Avenue, Newport, was adjudged to be of unsound mind in the Campbell County Court Thursday. The unfortunate woman has the hallucination that Admiral Dewey is trying to kill her and hovers about her home.

The body of Miss Virginia K Bowers, 62, who died at the Lakeland Asylum, arrived in Newport Saturday night. She was a sister of former City Treasurer Eugene Bowers and at one time taught in the public schools here.

The funeral took place from the home of her nephew, 237 West Seventh st. Newport, Monday afternoon and the remains were interred in Evergreen Cemetery.
