MARRIAGE-Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Virginia Gilbert of Gastonia, NC and Mr. Oscar Rummel Jr. Newport which took place Feb 4. The ceremony was performed by Rev William Dern of the St Paul Episcopal Church, Newport, in the presence of the immediate family connections.
The couple have departed for a bridal trip to Florida and will reside in an attractive apartment on Park avenue upon their return. The bride, a graduate nurse of Speers Hospital Dayton, was connected with the American Air Lines as a stewardess. She was recently associated with Booth Memorial Hospital as a supervisor. Mr. Rummell is associated with his sister, Miss Gertrude Rummel in the grocery business.
