NEWPORT
The will of William Ackerland, brother-in-law of former Mayor
Jullus Fleischmann, was admitted to probate yesterday. The will leaves $10,000
as a special bequest to his sister, Mrs. Edna A Wachman, and gives $500 each to
the Jewish Hospital Home for Jewish Aged and Infirm in Avondale, Jewish United
Charities and the Children's Home.
The rest of the $50,000 estate is be be divided equally between his brothers and sisters, Mrs. Edan W Wachman, Mrs. Lily A Fleischmann, Max Ackerland and Harry Ackerland. Max Ackerland and Harry Ackerland were named as executors and Max Ackerland made application for the appointment yesterday.
