A judgment was ordered, entered yesterday in the Circuit Court in the contested will case of the late Dennis Cahill.  The deceased, at his death some 15 years ago, left a will in which he expressly stipulated that none of his grandchildren should share in a division of his estate, valued at about $30,000.  His wife, Ellen, was to have a life estate in the property and at her death it was to be given to his children.

The grandchildren contested the will.  The Court in a lengthy opinion handed down yesterday, takes the position that the testator intended to and did give to his wife a life interest in the property, and the remainder in fee simple to his children, Catharine Air, T P Cahill, Mary Edwards, Dorothy Richards, Lydia Delano and William Cahill.

The Court thinks that it never was Cahill's intention, according to the will, that any of his grandchildren should have any interest in the estate and each of the children are adjudged to be entitled to a one-sixth interest.  The executrix, Lizzie Delano, is ordered to make a settlement with the Master Commissioner.
