LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ELIZABETH MAHRET DECEASED.

In THE NAME OF THE BENEVOLENT FATHER OF ALL.

I, the said Elizabeth Mahret being of sound and disposing mind and memory, considering the uncertainty of continuance in Life, and desiring to make such disposition of my worldly estate as I deem best, do make, publish and declare, this to be my last Will and Testament; hereby revoling and annuallinig any and all former Will or Wills whatsoever by me made.

First; I desire all my just debts and funeral expenses to be paid, as soon as possible after my decease.

Second; I give and devise to my two daughters Clara V. Mahret and Anna Mahret and to both or either of them so long as both or either shall live and be unmarried, that is to say if either of them should marry and the other be single the latter shall hold the property hereinafter specified in her own right during her single life, the Homestead place situate on the west side of Washington Avenue and known as number 1016.

I also give to said two daughters, upon the same contingencies all the house hold goods furniture and furnishings contained in said homestead.  After the marriage of both of said daughters or after the death of both of them. Or the death of one of them and the marriage of the other; said property shall go to all of my children then living and to their heirs and assigns absolutely and in fee simple including the child or children of such of my children as may have previously died.

All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate I give and bequeath to my six children share and share alike to be divided among them as soon as practicable after my decease towit; to Fred. M. Mahret, J. Franklin Mahret, C. William Mahret, Arthur H. Mahret, Clara C. Mahret and Anna E. Mahret.

I direct that while my daughters or either of them shall be in possession of the homestead and its furnishing, they shall keep the same in repairs at their own expense and shall keep the same insured and shall pay all taxes and assessments levied against the same.

I direct that no bond be required of my daughter Clara as executrix. 

I also direct that no inventory, appraisement or account be required of her by the court as such executrix.

I nominate and appoint my daughter Clara V. Mahret to be the executrix of this Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 9th day of November in the year 1905.

The foregoing last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Mahret deceased, was this day produced in open Court, filed proven, established and ordered to record as the last Will and Testament of said decedent.
