I,  Jacob R Smith of Newport, County of Campbell, State of Kentucky being of sound mind and disposing mind, memory and understanding do make and publish and declare this to be my last will and testament; hereby working and making null all former last wills, testimonies and unifying heretofore make; viz. I give, desire and bequeath all my personal property and the money on the interest which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease to my wife, Christina Smith, the money. & the remaining to be laid out in Real Estate within two (2) years after my decease to my wife Christine, to be the sole possession and has the whole proceeds of the same provided She remains a widow.

In case, however, She should marry again She shall deny? the benefit of the money or the real estate purchased therefore only So long until the youngest child then living, shall become of age, in which case my wife Christina Smith will have her third only and my son Louis Hill Smith and my daughter Sarah Ann Smith, Christina Louisa Smith and Rosana Catherine Smith, if then living shall have their thirds, and I do nominate and appoint _____ to be the Sole Executor of this my last will and testament.

In testimony, whereof  I the said, Jacob R Smith, have here subscribed my name affixed my seal this twenty-seventh day of Aug 17 1860.  Signed Jacob R Smith
