1804-1974

From the research papers of William R Stevens, a Campbell County historian held by the Campbell County Historical Society in Alexandria.

The first Wilmington Baptist Church was located at Bryan's Ford in Wilmington Bottoms dated June 3, 1804, near present Morning View, formerly known as Mullins Station.  On July 2, 1809 Ebenezer Griffing sold to the Baptist Church at Wilmington for $1.00 a tract of land on Duckers Run Creek the waters of Licking including their new meeting house containing 132 square poles.  This is from Deed Book C, page 277.
