Mrs. Lucy Jane Blevins age  89, and Isaac Johnson, 75 both of Hulen,
Ky, near the Bell-Harlan County line, were united in marriage here today by
County Judge W.J.R. Howard.
The marriage was the seventh for  Mrs. Blevins and the third for Mr.
Johnson, who listed his occupation as a  laborer.
Judge Howard quoted the bride as  saying. "Why shouldn't I get
married if I want to?" when she noticed a number of  spectators outside the Judge's
chambers. To which Judge Howard replied he saw no  reason why she shouldn't.
