Many local libraries have Thelma M. Willoughby Dunn's books. A library near you with a large genealogy department may also have the tax lists on microfilm.

The book "Second Census of Kentucky, 1800" by G. Glenn Clift includes Montgomery County and is based on these tax lists.

The 1797 Montgomery County tax roll can also be found in the Appendix, pages 144-160 of Harry G. Enoch's 1997 book "In Search of Morgan's Station".
