Hardin Bradshaw was the son of Clarence Bradshaw (1877-1943) and Eliza Bradshaw (1879-1949). Their family is listed in the 1920 Webster Co KY census.

He married Nona Dean Crowley (1911-1993), the daughter of Edmond Jackson Crowley and Zora Bell (Shug) Floyd. She is buried at Shady Grove Cemetery.
