Randolph Marion Orsburn was the son of Randolph Orsburn and Franey Mooney Orsburn who are buried in Petersburg Cemetery.

He married Nancy Emeline Allen 09 Mar 1865 in Webster Co KY. Nancy Emeline was the daughter of David Allen, 1808-1872, and Eliza Tapp, 1813-1871.
