Nora Catherine Crowley was the daughter of Thomas Bethel Crowley and Avigill Redd Johnson.

She married Lynn Boyd Newton, son of John Shelby Newton and Lettice Jane Shelton, 24 Dec 1894 Webster County. They became the parents of nine children.
