Emerson L. Crowley was the son of Carl Luke Crowley and Georgia Alice Miinor.

Emerson Crowley married Dorothy Crooks, the daughter of Ferman Harrison Crooks and Eliza H. Willett. They became the parents of one son, Carl Ferman Crowley.
