Cora Bridwell was the daughter of Mary Jane Bridwell, who is buried at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Cora's father is unknown. Mary Jane Bridwell married John "Jack" Jones 28 Aug 1893 Hopkins County KY.

Cora Bridwell lived with her grandparents, William H.H. Bridwell and Sarah Elizabeth Thornberry, from the time she was born until she died. Cora died at age 24 when her dress caught fire while she was sitting by the hearth.
