Soloman Wise was the son of Henry H. Wise and Rachel Russell Wise. He married Eliza Jane Walker 21 Jan 1856.

Eliza Jane Walker was the daughter of Albert Gallatin Walker, b 1807 VA, d 1882 TX, and Pauline Poole, b 1811 Nelson Co KY, d 9 May 1889, probably in KY.
