Russell W. Brooks, b 17 Feb 1961 Henderson Co KY, d 23 Dec 1997, was the son of Marlin Whitson Brooks and Jeannie Louise Mattler.

He married Kathy Jean Wedding, the daughter of Mona Phyllis Floyd and George Daniel Wedding.

Russell and Kathy Brooks were the parents of three children: Tosha Brooks, Marlin Brooks and Lisa Brooks.
