Moscow, this county, aged about 50 years. Mr. Andrews was ill nearly a year,
yet bore his affliction with true Christian fortitude. He was not only a
useful citizen but was influential and prosperous, and numbered his friends
by the hundred. He was a Republican in politics and was a great party
worker. He followed mining at one time, but having gained a competence, had
be leading a retired life for some time. He belonged to a prominent family.
His wife, who survives, was Miss Shaw, daughter of Mr. John Shaw. Besides a
wife he leaves the following children: Howard, of Lonaconing; William Osborn
Andrew, Moscow; Joseph, Pittsburg; George, Calvin, Aleda and Dora, all of
Moscow, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Calvin Shockey, McComas,
W. Va; Mrs. Peter Wilson, Cumberland; Mrs. E. M. Lewis, Cumberland; Mrs. Florence
Somerville, Barton; Joseph Andrew, Macon, Mo.; James and William Andrew,
