The Star Theater remained in the same location until a fire destroyed many of the buildings on the west side of Main Street. The theater is the more distant of the pair of taller buildings, which can be seen in both of the 1905 photos. In the 1960 photo, the theater is between the second & third telephone poles. It is the tall dark building with the light projection from the second floor. Floyd Linninger ran the Star Theater for a period of time after 1919.
