Hilda Ziemann Is Married
To Reinhold Arndt Sunday

Couple to Make Home in Sykeston;
Miss Frieda Ziemann of Bismarck is Bridesmaid

Miss Hilda Ziemann, daughter to Mr. and Mrs. August Ziemann of Krem, Sunday became the bride of Reinhold Arndt, Sykeston, son of Mrs. Maria Arndt of New Effington, S. D.

The double-ring ceremony was performed at 2 p.m. in the St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church in Krem.  Rev. Herbert C. Mueller officiated.

Nuptial music included Mendelssohn’s “Wedding March” played at the organ by L. Wohlfeil, of Hazen.

Miss Frieda Ziemann of Bismarck, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid.  Edwin Arndt, New Effington, was his brother’s best man.

For the ceremony the bride wore a floor-length model of white transparent velvet, fashioned with a sweetheart neckline and fitted bodice.  Her knee-length veil fell from a Juliet cap of seed pearls.  For jewelry she wore a pearl necklace, gift of the bridegroom.  She carried a bouquet of white carnations.

The bridesmaid wore a floor-length dress of aqua brocade. Her corsage was of pink roses and she wore white pompons and pink roses in her hair. Her jewelry was a sapphire pendant, gift of the bride.

A wedding supper for 36 guests was served by the bride’s parents in their home after the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Arndt are on a wedding trip to points in Central and Eastern North and South Dakota. For traveling the bride is weark a black matlasse dress.  They will be at home Dec. 6, in Sykeston.

Lydia Arndt of New Effington was a guest at the wedding.

Mrs. Arndt graduated from Bismarck high school in 1937 and attended Dickinson State Teacher’s college.  She resigned her position as stenographer with the Mercer County Agriculture Conservation Association.

Rev. Arndt attended Concordia college in St. Paul, Minn., and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. He now is minister for the Evangelical Lutheran churches of Sykeston, Woodworth and Pettibone.
