DOUBLE WEDDING

HAZEN—At a double wedding ceremony held Sunday, Nov. 5, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Wiedrich of Hazen, were married.  Miss Ruby Wiedrich became the bride of Albert Morast, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ursus Morast of rural Beulah, and Miss Lucille L. Wiedrich became the bride of Walter Pfennig of rural Beulah.  The double wedding ceremony was held in the Peace Lutheran Church north of Beulah, with Rev. D. Bergstedt performing the ceremonies.

Attendants for Mr. and Mrs. Pfenning were Miss Edna Wiedrich of Hazen and Miss Wilma Wiedrich, cousin of the bride.  Attending the bridegroom were Erwin Pfennig, cousin of the bridegroom, and Art and Adolf Renner.

Attending Mr. and Mrs. Morast were Miss Eleanora Morast of Beulah, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Ester Ost of Beulah, cousin of the bride.  Attending the bridegroom were Erwin Morast, brother of the bridegroom, and Ivan Benz, cousin of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception for 80 guests was given at the home of the brides’ parents.  Mr. and Mrs. Morast will make their home on his farm north of Hazen, while Mr. and Mrs. Pfennig will be a home on his farm north of Golden Valley.
