BERTHA (SAILER) ADAMS

Bertha C. Adams, Warren, Oregon, a Hazen, North Dakota native, died October 17, 1995, in her home.

Mrs. Adams was born May 11, 1917, in Hazen, N.D. She lived in the area for 27 years and was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Warren, Oregon.

Mrs. Adams grew up in the Hazen area, leaving in 1954 when she married Norman “Tex” Adams. Mr. Adams died in 1994. Her hobbies were gardening, fishing and cooking. Wherever she went, she made friends.

She is survived by a son Donley Sailer of St. Helens, Oregon; a daughter, Geraldine Scott of Selah, Washington; four brothers, Albert Sailer of Stanton, North Dakota, Edwin Sailer of Warren, Oregon, Bernhard Sailer of Pick City, North Dakota and Arthur Sailer of Milton-Freewater, Oregon; a sister, Helen (Sailer) Ziemann of Cheyenne, Wyoming; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 20, 1995, at Calvary Lutheran Church, Warren, Oregon. Interment was in Columbia Memorial Gardens, Scappoose, Oregon.
